The Pokémon Company said it would print more Prismatic Evolutions at maximum capacity
PocketMonsters.net (January 18, 2025) reports that The Pokémon Company announced on January 15, 2025 it would print more Scarlet & Violet—Prismatic Evolutions products after launch availability problems. The report quotes the company as “actively working to print more of the impacted Pokémon TCG products as quickly as possible and at maximum capacity,” with reprinted product expected at participating retailers. That is set-level supply news around the Umbreon ex Special Illustration Rare. It is not a bulletin about this card alone. A matching page on pokemon.com was not available to cite, so the label stays Reported.

Counterfeit Umbreon ex copies show up in a fake database and authenticity threads
Ungraded’s Fake Card Database lists 161/131 Umbreon ex (Prismatic Evolutions). Threads on r/IsMyPokemonCardFake also warn about fake Prismatic Eeveelution and Umbreon cards, pointing at detail, color, and texture. A high-ticket chase draws that kind of counterfeit chatter. None of it is an authenticity bulletin from The Pokémon Company.
Why it’s still a lead · A hobby fake atlas and authenticity threads are a counterfeit watch, not an authenticity bulletin.

A YouTube title claims this Umbreon ex is “selling for $3,000”
A hobby video is titled “Umbreon ex From Prismatic Evolutions Selling For $3,000.” That is a round number in a title. The title does not name an auction lot, a grade, a condition, or a venue.
Why it’s still a lead · A video title is not a sale receipt. The figure stays a rumor until a named lot is cited.

Social reprint talk for Prismatic Evolutions still hangs over Umbreon ex
The same 2026 Instagram reel that repeats “maximum capacity” and ongoing Prismatic Evolutions reprint language also gets applied to Umbreon ex, the set’s top chase Special Illustration Rare. That is set-level supply talk, not a card-specific notice from The Pokémon Company.
Why it’s still a lead · A social reprint claim about the set is not a notice for this card.
