TPCi warns hobby stores: League promos / Prize Packs not for free-market flip

PokeBeach reported The Pokémon Company International emailed hobby stores a timeline for when League-related materials may be sold, after a December warning about misuse. Play! Pokémon Prize Packs were specified as never for sale; League-stamped promos (including Prize Pack singles) were restricted until three years after the card’s printed copyright year (starting 2025); free Play! promo materials and early Prerelease Build & Battle Box sales were also flagged. TPCi warned disciplinary action could include League removal or suspension from Play! Pokémon programs. Context included Prize Pack Series Four appearing on eBay from “dubious” hobby stores the prior month.
