Summer sealed hold — Chaos Rising still elevated
The Pokémon Company International / Gamespress · Source
Summer sealed stayed elevated into early June. Chaos Rising booster boxes softened a notch off the early-June print, while Ascended Heroes Elite Trainer Boxes held firm in the high $170s. Premium sealed — with a slight cool on the new-set box, not a dump.
How the market was
Two weeks past Chaos Rising street date, the sealed tape looked like a hold with one soft edge. Chaos Rising booster boxes printed around ~$235 on the June 9 book — down from the early-June ~$250 hold in Issue 10, still well above a normal main-set settle. Standard Chaos Rising ETBs sat near ~$88, in line with the early post-street band rather than a second spike.
Ascended Heroes carried the other half of the summer read. ASC ETBs cleared about ~$177–$187 — firm special-set money while the new set’s box took a small step down. That bifurcation matters for collectors watching “everything sealed cools together.” It didn’t. CR boxes eased; ASC ETBs did not follow them down in this window.
Pokémon Center Chaos Rising ETBs get a clearer late-June print around ~$165 in later editions. That ~$165 figure is not this June 8 Monday’s print. Standard and exclusive stay separate.
Week over week vs Issue 10, the singles thin-book heat cools as the lead story. Sealed takes the headline again: still elevated summer sealed, slight BB soften ~$250 → ~$235, premium intact.

Worth watching
- Chaos Rising booster box
- Ascended Heroes ETB
- Chaos Rising ETB (standard) — PC labeled separate when used
Note
Do not blend PC exclusive CR ETB into the Jun 8 standard book. PC Chaos Rising ETB ~$165 is a late-June clearer band — don’t force it as the Jun 8 print. No Celebration set.
